Welcome to Whim Originals
Well, it has been incredibly cold here in Port Austin for the last few weeks. The lake outside the studio windows is frozen solid, and even appears to be smooth enough to skate on.
Well, the vacation is over and my creative side is inspired. Currently I have found all that the hardware store has to offer. Actually it is so much fun... I have a couple of the guys now looking for design elements in all the various parts they supply.
The new line will be "Industrial" themed...I have started out with rings and I am sure will branch out from there.
I have done some research regardingwhat the popular trends will be this Spring and Summer, Statement jewelry is what will be popular.
Everything will be large and attention getting, pieces that make a statement in size and showiness and materials. Rings, pendants, bracelets all will be larger, the whole "Look at me" attitude.
I have so many ideas in mind, I love creating statement pieces.
Earrings seem to be what I am focused on at the time...there are so many great styles that I have been seeing, long and large but light and airy.
